Water, Lacquer & Love: A Contemporary Lacquer Fan Workshop

As part of Double Seventh Cultural Week, Creative Asia Art Centre warmly invites you to an afternoon celebrating Chinese culture through contemporary art, traditional craftsmanship, and community connection.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own contemporary lacquer fan using flowing lacquer techniques inspired by one of China's most treasured artistic traditions. Each fan is uniquely patterned, making it a meaningful keepsake to take home.

Double Seventh Cultural Week celebrates the traditional Chinese Double Seventh Festival (Qixi), a cultural celebration of love, craftsmanship, reunion, and meaningful human connection. Whether you're attending with friends, family, a loved one, or on your own, everyone is welcome to join this creative and cultural experience.

Following the workshop, participants are invited to enjoy a complimentary networking session with light refreshments before attending a seminar led by Dr. Angelina Mirabito. Further details about the seminar will be announced closer to the event.

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of creativity, culture, and community as we celebrate Double Seventh Cultural Week together.
