‘Mother’ painting workshop

This Saturday, April 3rd, we enjoyed a Gathering of Women, Mothers, and Children for Creativity celebrating mother in honour of for Mother’s Day next week.

There was something quietly powerful about the atmosphere at our recent event—a gentle, grounded energy that filled the space as women of various ages came together, some with their children by their side.

Among them was a sixteen-year-old son—the eldest child in attendance—who participated with a thoughtful presence that added something quietly special to the day. Mothers and children worked side by side, sometimes collaborating, sometimes creating independently, but always connected in spirit.

Alongside them were women of all ages—some mothers, others not—each bringing their own stories, experiences, and creative impulses. The room held a quiet rhythm of making, sharing, and simply being. What emerged was a collection of artworks rich in texture, feeling, and meaning. Each piece carried the imprint of its maker, yet together they wove a larger tapestry of collective expression and connection.

We hope this post, short video and photos offer a glimpse into the warmth and creativity that unfolded—and that they leave you as inspired as we felt witnessing it all.
