Feel the Season. Paint the Feeling.

Winter is more than a season — it’s a sensation, a mood, a space of stillness and reflection. In this unique palette knife painting workshop, Angelina Mirabito, contemporary abstract artist and founder of ROMULUS, invites you to explore winter’s emotional landscape through colour, texture, and bold creative expression.

Whether winter brings you a sense of calm, melancholy, introspection, or quiet strength — this workshop will help you translate that feeling into visual form.

What to Expect

No experience is necessary — just a willingness to explore your inner world through art.

We’ll begin with a gentle breathwork and colour reflection exercise to tune into the emotional textures of the season. From there, you’ll create your own expressive 40x40cm painting using palette knives, thick layers of paint, and your intuitive response to winter.

You’ll be guided step-by-step by Angelina in a relaxed, encouraging environment, where there are no rules — only exploration. This is a space to play, reflect, connect, and create.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with:

  • A completed textural abstract painting

  • A renewed connection to your inner world

  • New techniques for expressing feeling through form and colour

What’s included:

  • All materials (canvas, tools, paints)

  • A glass of wine + light refreshments

  • Your completed 40x40cm artwork to take home

  • Small group session (max 12 participants)

This workshop is about freedom, exploration, and self-expression—no prior painting experience needed!

Cost:

  • $80 per person

  • Gladstone residents receive 20% off with promo code at checkout

Spaces are limited, and our recent workshops have sold out—early booking is recommended.
